Jason Kelce dished to PEOPLE about his inaugural visit to brother Travis' 1587 Prime steakhouse.
The retired NFL star and his father, Ed Kelce, dined at the steakhouse, co-owned by Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, on Sunday, Oct. 26.
While the meal was "fantastic," the father of four would order differently the next time he visits.
"The only thing I wish I would've got something else is the steak," admitted Jason, who recently announced his fragrance collaboration with Kingsford. "I've done the Wagyu a lot, and I know a lot of people love Wagyu. But for me, every time I get it, it's almost too rich. I like the regular steak ribeye."
But, "everything [Travis] recommended was great," Jason confirmed. He and Ed ordered Whipped Ricotta, 1587 Wagyu Meatballs, The Big Red cheeseburger (which is inspired by Chiefs coach Andy Reid), Lobster Rolls and more.
Fans got to hear all about the Chiefs' tight end's suggestions before the former Philadelphia Eagles player's visit, when Travis begged Jason to order what he suggested during the Oct. 22 episode of their New Heights podcast.
Jason also spoke to PEOPLE about his years-long partnership with the charcoal brand and their latest venture: Slow Burns fragrance.
"They approached me with this idea for this charcoal fragrance," Jason began about the smoke-scented fragrance. "And for me, smells really do elicit strong memories a lot of the times. I think charcoal elicits a very strong memory with my father, with friends of mine in college and in high school."
