A dislodged railing at Punchestown caused chaos for riders and jockeys taking part in the Festival's cross country chase on Tuesday afternoon. Pre-race favourite Fralimonti Bilbery was seeking to gain an advantage on the inside as the horses were making their way around the circuit, but appeared to make contact with the safety railings as the pack jostled for position. The railing had dislodged as horses attempted to cross the track to complete the course, with dramatic consequences.

Jonas Gutierrez, 41, was one of the most popular players on Tyneside between 2008 and 2015. The former Argentina international retired in 2021 five years after returning to his homeland but he has never lost his love for the Magpies. And so he took to Grey's Monument in the city centre with nothing but himself and his guitar to light up the streets with his infectious personality.
