Oneil Cruz has broken his own MLB record to smash a new hardest-hit ball in baseball history - a 122.9mph rocket of a home run. The Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop already previously held the record - a 122.5mph single back in August 2022, but he has now beaten his old mark by 0.4mph. Perhaps more enjoyable for Cruz this time around was that he sent this effort out of the ballpark, way over the railings for a 432 foot home run off Logan Henderson.
