Fans rage at prices for Aussie band Parkway Drive's Sydney Opera House show: 'They want to bleed us dry'
Fans of Aussie metalcore band Parkway Drive have taken to social media to rage over prices for their upcoming Sydney show. The seminal Byron Bay based headbangers will be playing a special 'black tie' event at the Sydney Opera House in June, accompanied by a symphonic orchestra. However some fans have baulked at the prices for the event, with a standard ticket coming in at $349. Former Rolling Stone Australia chef operating officer Joel King shared the pricing for the upcoming show to his Facebook account on Tuesday, asking his 86,000 followers what they thought of the show's pricing.
